We have been praying for God’s direction, in deciding the three options that were laid before us at the Oncology appointment. The survival rate for this type of cancer is 95%+.
Option #3 We are waiting a month to start Chemo! This will mean Chemo class, one more blood draw and another CT scan before he starts Chemo in March.
The Chemo is going to be intense. Five days a week, four hours a day. Then he has two weeks off and will have to do blood draws and possibly CT scans during the off weeks. He will have 4 cycles of this treatment.
Please pray that his work will be willing to work with him. He is on salary and is supposed to work a certain amount of hours for a week. He will have to take four weeks off, and hoping the side effects don’t affect the other weeks that he is planning on working.
