Hospital Day Seven

Last night was a bit of a nightmare, with three different people poking him for IV #4 without success.  They had to pull out the other IV after the doctors stopped his IV fluids and didn't tell anyone.  They had someone else put the IV in at surgery, since they say they don't have the experience.  He hasn't been able to do fluids and food since midnight to prepare for the small procedure to remove his filter.

After his filter was removed, they transported him back in a bed.  He finally gets real food!  So he got to eat his lunch!  He will take a shower and then we are OUT OF HERE!

We get to pick up our daughters and have a dinner waiting for us.  Thank you to Jacqueline and Chris for our meal that you prepared for us.  Praying for your family!

Thank you God for this journey no matter how difficult it has been!  Thank you for all the staff, especially Nurse Camille.  I know we still have a long journey ahead of us, but with God all things are possible!
